The Forth Valley Mountaineering Club is based in Central Scotland with members mostly from the Falkirk, Stirling and West Lothian areas, although a few live further afield and the club keeps in touch with ex-members around the world. Anyone is welcome to come along if they are active and have an interest in hillwalking/mountaineering/climbing/biking. |

Every few weeks the club organises a weekend trip to the hills (see the Club Meets page or the Meets Calendar). Places are reserved on a first come first served basis and the Meets Secretary takes bookings. Your place is reserved on payment of a non-returnable but modest fee that covers the cost of that particular weekend. Preference is given to those who will be staying the whole weekend as distinct from one nights stay. |

Many members often do their own thing in the mountains as well as ‘official’ club meets. Indeed the number and diversity of independently arranged trips are perhaps the greatest strength of FVMC. |

The Annual General meeting (AGM) is held each year in early March. This is your opportunity to make your views known and to elect the committee for the following year. It is also the occasion to update your membership and get a new FVMC card. |
