The main advantages of membership are - Shared experiences and companionship of other mountaineers
- The huge collective skills and knowledge base of existing members
- Access to club booked huts and bunkhouses for weekends away
- Opportunity for pooled transport from Forth Valley to the hills
- Club membership of Mountaineering Council of Scotland (MCofS) third party liability insurance
- Joining trips abroad arranged between members
Terms Club membership is open to all on payment of an annual £15 fee and completion of a club membership form entitles you to attend all club meets. Membership is renewable at the AGM in March every year. We welcome new members with an interest in mountaineering regardless of ability, actively encourage members to develop further mountaineering skills and we give opportunities for social and informal sharing of knowledge and experience. All members are responsible for their own personal safety and voluntary participation is at your own risk. Privileges of membership allow you to: - Make use of any facilities offered by the club
- Participate in any club activities once a membership fee is received and the membership form completed
- Arrange extra individual hut accommodation via the Meets Secretary
